We spent Thanksgiving weekend with my folks in Minot. It was a nice small Thanksgiving, small as in number of people not at all small in the amount of food consumed! There were only 6 of us total and mom made 4 pies, and that was just desert. Mom made all of Beth and my favorites, homemade lefse, homemade dressing, green bean casserole, squash (from her garden…yum!), of course a big turkey, and Grandma brought her famous flat bread, homemade spinach dip, and her yummy orange salad. So good! I get hungry just thinking about it all!
We did participate in the Black Friday shopping tradition. Tim and I only have two people left on our Christmas list, how are awesome are we!?! Not even December and we are almost done shopping for the holidays!
Speaking (typing, I guess) of shopping, Tim and I are heading off to MN this weekend to do some house hunting. I doubt we will be doing anything more than scoping out homes because we still do not know when the project starts, but it is still exciting to look. Who knows, maybe we will get an official start date by the end of the week and be able to put a bid on a home this weekend!!!
Thats all for now, we will try and get some pictures up asap. Patrick is getting so big, I swear he changes every day!
