Safe and Sound

We made it.

We got in last night around 7:30. The boys were exhausted. Michael didn’t nap at all and PJ only napped for a total of an hour throughout the whole drive.

The drive was thankfully uneventful.

The only excitement was that in Fargo while waiting for Verizon Wireless tech support to help me, my phone came back to life. FYI it take 32 hours for a apple juice soaked cell phone to dry out and start working again, you can thank Michael for that helpful piece of info.

Tim will join us via Amtrack on the morning of the 23rd.

We are having the traditional Clute Christmas. Christmas Eve with my Mom’s side. Christmas morning at home and Christmas Day with my Dad’s side. I can’t wait to see all my family. I haven’t seen some of them for over a year!

The boys are feeling better. Not 100%. Not even close.  I would optimistically say 60%. Michael is over the worst of it. PJ is fighting the good fight. I would say one more good night sleep and they will be back to almost normal.

Lucy is living the good lif. Napping all day. Lots of love and treats. She loves Christmas almost as much as I do.

That’s all for now. I will upload pics tomorrow. For now just picture runny noses and tired red eyes and you will have a pretty good mental image of what the boys look like!
