Pregnancy and Summer Updates

Tomorrow is 36 weeks. 37 weeks and Baby Girl is fully cooked. I have been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions. They are getting more powerful every day. I am still moving around pretty good. The only real pain I am in is my hips and pelvis are really achy. Other than that I am doing good.  That said, it takes an act of God to get me up off of the couch. Everyone keeps thinking that she will come early. Who  knows, maybe Baby Girl will make her debut in the next few weeks?!

Michael and Patrick don’t really care about the pending addition to the family. They are more concerned with pushing their tractors and dump trucks around the yard. When days are nice enough they splash in the pool in the backyard. On rainy days we spend the days playing animals and puzzles. I really don’t think they have the slightest idea that things are going to be changing quite drastically around here!

Tim is really busy at work and has been putting in even more hours of over time than usual. I think he is looking forward to his paternity leave and sees it at one long sleepless vacation!

And in response to the much asked question, Nope. We don’t need anything for the baby. We are set. We have all the gear still from the boys and lots of gender neutral clothes for the first few months.

As for Michael’s birthday (July 10th), we don’t have any plans made yet. He loves “reading” right now so there is a hint.  He is still loving dressing up, so costumes are always a HUGE hit. He is now wearing a 3T and some 4T clothes. He hasn’t had a growth spurt in a while, so I would go 4T to be safe…. but like I said, he is sitting good and really all he wants is for someone to play with him. His mommy isn’t very fun lately since she doesn’t run and chase like she used to!

Yay!!! I can’t wait to meet her!! and tell the boys I’ll be there as soon as I can! I got them some more fun water toys!

I told the boys you were coming soon and immediately they went running to the window to watch for you! Hurry up and get here, the boys are bored with me and Milly doesn’t like to play soccer and t-ball. The boys need their Auntie Beth.
