Sumer Love

With all the unending and heart breaking new coverage of Minot it is easy to get into a funk where the tears come easy.

We took a much needed break from the 24/7 coverage this weekend and we played. Believe me, I still checked in to see how things were going and how places were faring. But we (read- I) shut off the computer for hours at a time and took a break.

We played and played. And it was fun. I wish I could wrap up that fun and send it to my family in Minot so they could get a reprieve for a bit. But since I can’t, here are some photos from our Fun Summer Weekend. Please, live vicariously.

“I AM DOING IT!”

“I DON’T WANT TO RIDE BIKE!”

“Dadadadada!”

“LOOK AT ME!”

“Me TOOOoooo!”

“I found a stick.”

“I can find a stick too!”

It is amazing how your definition of “fun” changes after kids.

And how little things like, Elise eating her first piece of lefsa is exciting enough to blog about!

oh and by the way she loved it! Of course she did.
