Dear Santa,

I hope you took notes because Michael had three pages of wishes and Patrick is very particular about what he wants.

and with smiles like this, how could Santa deny them anything they want.

Elise took a little coaxing to even go near Santa. And by coaxing I mean she wouldn’t loosen the death grip she had around my neck. It took a few minutes of me holding her for her to relax. In those moments Santa was kind enough to autograph our copy of The Night Before Christmas.

And yes, there are plans to print out the photo and secure it into the book somehow.

As I have mentioned before, our neighbor Colleen McKenzie  has a photo studio above her garage. She has taken the kids’ pictures many times. She has a great little setup, and when she heard that Santa was coming to visit her studio she shot me an email to give me the heads-up. It was really kind of her to share Santa time with us. It definitely saved us on postage. I am pretty sure even a forever stamp wouldn’t have been enough to get the boys’ letters all the way to the North Pole! The photos turned out great and I love having candids of the kids with Santa.

Especially sweet candids like these where Santa is reading to the kids.
