First Day of School 2015

We were running a bit behind schedule so photos were rushed and not very good, but we got them done!  Also the color printer was jammed and out of ink so it is black and white signs this year. Oh well.

Third Grade!

Michael may not look it but he was equally as excited about school as Patrick.

This year Michael insisted on choosing his own clothes for the first day of school. This is the first time he has ever done that. Also, I had to walk into school to buy a 3rd Grade Planner that I didn’t buy at Open House last week. I don’t even remember there being a sign, but I vaguely remember thinking “we don’t have to stand in line for whatever those kids are buying because that is for the big kids.” I have one of those big kids! When did that happen?

Maybe I will have them redo First Day of School photos when they get home from school this afternoon. 😉

Elise starts Kindergarten on Thursday. I just CAN NOT BELIEVE how big they are!

It ended up that by the time we had walked to school we still had 10 minutes before the doors even opened. I guess the whole “being on time means you are late” mentality I was raised with never really left me. The boys were standing around with friends chatting away about their summer while I bought the big kid planner. It makes me so happy to see them so engaged and excited to be with their friends.

Labor Day Weekend

We are not positive but we think that it has been 3 years since we have all been together. Because of that, the camera came out and we marked the occasion with some family photos.

The Shannon Five!

The Original Shannon Five!

Out Takes.

And finally, a sweet family photo of everyone. I only had to “Gimp” one set of eyes, and I will never tell you who was the only one that was blinking out of the entire Shannon clan. 🙂

Travel Photos

More photos including this one, are up in the gallery.

The reason it is taking so long is that I have three kids at home ALL day EVERY SINGLE DAY! And I am being a bit ridiculous about editing some photos like the one above to look like the one below.

There are still more photos to come. Please be patient. All three kids start school soon… then there will be photos. I promise.

Scotland and Ireland Photos

I have photos… lots and lots and lots of photos.
I will post them as they are ready to be posted, please be patient with me and check the Gallery often. I plan on posting them to the Gallery as they are ready, it will take a while to get a written blog post edited and up about the trip.

For now, here is one of my favorites. It is from our first day of travel in Scotland. I didn’t edit a thing! Scotland is that beautiful and we were that happy.
